My name is Anthony Hutchcroft and I am a Canadian composer. I wish I could have seen your Flanders Fields 1917 exhibition. At least I was able to view your photos online here.
I recently posted to my website my music adaptation of the famous war memorial poem IN FLANDERS FIELDS (by fellow Canadian, John McCrae).
I wanted to share this with you. I hope you enjoy. AH

Editor's comment: Hi Anthony, thanks for your comment. Sorry you weren't able to see the exhibition, but it's a long way to come anyway, I suppose. Actually we did have Tim Cook from the Canadian War Museum out here for a conference on the Western Front in 1917 a couple of weeks ago. He's just release his first volume of a new history of the CEF during the war. I've ordered my copy and am just waiting for it to arrive. Should be good! Anyway, thanks for sharing your music composition. I thought it was really well done - quite inspirational and stirring music. Have you approached Paul Gross who's doing the new film on Passchendaele? I can just imagine your music going nicely, somewhere near the conclusion of this movie.

Cheers,
Craig.
